Its the month of Elul at the moment. The letters the word "ELUL" are the acronyms of the phrase, "I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved is mine!" Its a love month. A month were God puts on His Holy Jean pants and comes and shmoozes with us in our living rooms (so to speak).
Let's talk to Him. Reflect upon His many miracles....why, He still breathing life into us from way way back when since the time of Adam and Eve...so nu?! Thank Him. lol.
Seriously, though, we have much to be grateful for and personally, I think its much better to look at the beautiful things that's been given to us and feel loved and gratitude and try to be better people because of that, rather than to fear His wrath, look with doom upon those who are having misfortunes, and chastise everyone for not repenting completely enough.
