Stabbing victim 'found God' in Israel - Israel News, Ynetnews
Its very difficult.
While I'm sad that she died. Even sadder that it was such a brutal multiple stabbing sort of death...Its unnerving to read about misisonaries who say they "love the Jewish people". Pulease. If they truly "loved" us they would leave us alone and not prosyletize and try to convert us. Do we try to convert others? Why can't they too be content? Do they need others to convert in order to validate their own beliefs?

Shalom Miriam,
I was saddened by the attack and murder of the American tourist and have just discovered that she was a part of a missionary group.
I'm of the opinion that missionary activity should be against the law and all known missionaries should be expelled.I know that numerous Christian groups are strong supporters of Israel and I guess if we outlawed missionary activity then we would lose money and support. But not all Christians are missionaries and if the Jewish state had drawn a line in the sand 60 years ago then at least we'd look like we meant business.
I discovered there were quite a few of them in Arad when a Yad Sarah volunteer who was helping me,a Jewish lady from England, turned out to have close contacts with several of them. She called herself a Messianic Jew and I was quick to say goodbye to her, despite her help.I seriously thought of turning them in to an anti missionary organization, but after the volunteer left I had no further contact with any of them and they disappeared from my mind.
The problem is, of course, that they are still around going after Jews to get that ultimate feather in their caps-a Jew.And in a city like this one where the majority of Jews are from the former Soviet Union they have a fertile hunting ground.
It could be because today i"m just down, but sometimes it seems like there is just too many obstacles, so much juggling to do...
Talk about a fiddler on the roof.
