Another post I would rather read about than write about, but until someone writes about it...
The Jewish people have so many different parts. Each part believing their way is right. And then throw in there those who aren't even Jewish but feel they have an input into all of this. Now what is happening is whenever someone wants to convert to Judaism, all sorts of groups can swarm this person and lead them......I don't know where.
much prayer is needed. Action too. I just don't know what action besides blogging about these issues.
Currently, there is a group of Igbos who want to convert and be Jewish. But the Orthodox Jewry is not doing anything about it. Now the Jews for J are coming over there to tell them what's what.

That reminds me of the group in Uganda who claimed Jewishness.The Conservative movement went over there and converted them and even sent some to learn at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles,a Conservative University.I met one who was studying to be a Rabbi.
Why is it whenever a group of non whites want to embrace Judaism,especially in Africa,only the Reform and Conservative show any interest?.Or in the case that you've pointed out a bogus Jews for Jesus group?

I don't know the answer.
Perhaps its up to the Black & Jewish people, that part of klal Yisrael who's heart is maybe (?) tied to that area (Africa) to pick up that slack?
