Tomorrow night is Rosh Hashana for the trees! That is the date Tu B'Shevat in the Jewish calendar.
People celebrate this day by either planting a tree or eating a variety of different fruits. Hopefully, we'll have a fruit party!
Last year all the kids got pots and a sack of soil and little shovels and we bought some flowers from the flower store. That was their Tu B'Shevat project: transferring the flower onto the new (bigger) flower pot. I was surprised the flowers lasted as long as they did. The kids were so diligent in watering them, etc.
But as time went by the poor plants got ignored and withered and......

After the whole move to Tsfat, etc. I am still not back with all my projects for them. Hopefully, buying the variety of fruits will give me a boost. Til then, happy Tu b'Shevat everyone and every...plant! lol.
