Standing on Holy Ground
.
I heard this beautiful insight from a Rebbetzin in Tsfat:
She explained that it was interesting how Moses went the extra mile for that one sheep who went away from the herd. Then he found God who decalred that Moses was on holy ground.
Its as if going that extra mile in kindness brings us to "holy ground"!
May we always have the courage to get to holy ground!

"5 And He said: 'Draw not nigh hither; put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.' " (Exodus 3, 5)

I am So Sorry, Moshe
.
This piece of news was very very hard to post about. Moshe's parents were killed in the Mumbai attack. The parents and others from the Chabad House* were tortured before they were killed. Tortured so badl, so "beyond words", that the doctors -experienced men and women who have seen bodies before-- were traumatized.
Now little Moshe is an orphan.

I have no words.
