My small list on Mommy tips:

* Kids are kids. Their character traits will always be a work in progress. Just as adults struggle, I can't expect the kids to "work" until they are finally "perfected."

* Parents are the kids' yatzer hatov /good inclination. Everyone has a bad inclination - the urge to do the deliciously wrong things! The sages say that small children simply have no yatzer hatov -good inclination (that, or its very weak or on and off). We, the parents, are their yazer hatov -the good inclination, the urge to do what is right. How do we want that yatzer hatov to sound like? How do we want that "good angel" that is meant to council them towards good to sound like? Certainly not like an angry BW! LOL!
