BW in America (and the world over) and the Shechina

.
By BW I mean women with Black African ancestry that shows. By the Shechina, I mean the Jewish definition: the divine presence of the Holy One, Blessed be He,in the world.

Most times, in Jewish teachings and sources, the Holy One is hardly ever -well never- seen as a little lamb, unable to defend himself and willingly allowing Himself afflictions. However, there is a part of Him, the Shechina -which is His pDivine Presence in the world that at seems to have a "weak side". When people blaspheme or do hurtful things, it is said that the Shechina goes away from that place. Almost as if its running away. The perpetrator is then left to the designs of nature, harsh judgements of the world.

That also reminds me of King David.  King David was quite powerful and strong.  When he was a young lad, he protected his sheep against bears and lions, etc.  And he fought Goliath, the giant and single handledly beat him. However, when he was on the defense, when Shaul was coming after him, all he could do was run away.

It seems like when he's on the offense, it works better for him. But when he's on the defense....oy vavoy to him.

Sometimes I wonder if Black Women are like that too??? Potentially better at the offensive and not so good with the defensive?

.just musing.

Shabbat Shalom to all / have a great weekend!!!
