Hot Days in Israel

.
It is really hot here. And we don't have air conditioning. Just some good working fans that I pray will not give up on us.

Its times like these that its really really hard to dress modestly in the home. I imagine the times of Abraham and Sarah. Abraham had his tent....over there; and Sarah had her own. It must have been nice to have her own space were if she had to she didn't always have to be so modestly dressed.

At any rate, it is what it is.

I thought Abraham and Sarah had the one tent. Interesting point though.

I was without air conditioning for about three weeks this summer, and the temperature was sometimes in the hundreds. I was especially worried about the cats, but they seem to be all right now.

Hi Miriam,

What is wrong with being comfortably dressed in your own home....modesty is more important than being relaxed in private settings? Is that a cultural difference between the Americans and their tendencies toward exhibitionism and the Jewish people abroad?
