Interesting quote, but a distortion of true love. Love doesn't take (not life, nor one's spiritual essence), it gives.
Love expands, opens, provides, shares, sets free. It doesn't narrows, closes, holds back, hoards, nor bounds.
Yes, actually the writer, Sultan Knish, was talking about a distorted love in which the man was all ego and didn't really care about the girl.
