I heard this beautiful insight from a Rebbetzin in Tsfat:
"5 And He said: 'Draw not nigh hither; put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.' " (Exodus 3, 5)
She explained that it was interesting how Moses went the extra mile for that one sheep who went away from the herd. Then he found God who decalred that Moses was on holy ground.
Its as if going that extra mile in kindness brings us to "holy ground"!
May we always have the courage to get to holy ground!
