YouTube of the Week

My kids can't get enough of this video. NOTHING AGAINST HILLARY NOW. Just that they love screaming "jealous jealous!!" when the Tracy Flick character walks toward the Obama campaign with that angry look. Then they all cower behind me.

Its just too funny! Then when they show the scene with Obama and some bikini girl dancing, they all scream, "immodest!" lol

(NOTE TO FRUM READERS: THERE IS A BIKINI SCENE IN THIS YOUTUBE)

Ah election crap. I'm taking a break for Lent. Other than knowing the results, I'm staying out of all discussions and not reading the news which is 99% horse race coverage and then clips like these which further validate my assertion that the Dems are going to screw themselves because of this huge Hillary-Obama rivalry. Looking in as an independent, I can't see one person I'd want to lead this country so in November, it's again piking the lesser of two evils.

I definitely know where I stand on all issues and there are some I just don't care enough to form an opinion (immigration). None of the candidates match up. Chances are that the economy will play a huge role in my vote as things get worse. I've never voted for a republican but there's a first time for everything I suppose. I just hope it's not going to be this year.

This probably just broke my Lenten promise but I haven't been to Ash Wednesday service yet so it doesn't count. :)

Enjoy lent! it seems like a deep meditative time.

"This probably just broke my Lenten promise "

well, since the video didn't really have any political purpose on this blog, maybe it doesn't count? lol

That was awesome. I haven't seen that movie in a long time.

Like another commenter, I'm an Independent and felt bleh about everyone, but I started doing the research on each candidate's positions. There are some big differences between them all.

Fortunately for all of us, voting for President isn't the most important political action we can take.
